The 80/20 Principle and Parkinson's Law


The 80/20 Principle, also known as the Pareto Principle, states that 80% of results come from 20% of efforts. In other words, a small number of activities or inputs often account for the majority of the results or outputs. Parkinson’s Law, on the other hand, states that work expands to fill the time available for its completion. Essentially, tasks will take as long as the time allotted to complete them.
